Donald Lee Fenter entered this life on Friday, June 18, 1948 in Carnegie, Oklahoma to Otis Fenter, Jr. and Edith May (Smith) Fenter. Donald passed from this life on Friday, October 16, 2026 at the age of 78.
Donald grew up and attended Duncan High School and Empire before joining the United States Navy at the age of 17. After being discharged from the service, he moved to Oklahoma City and worked as a salesman for several dealerships in the city. In his later years, he came to Marshall County and worked at Crosspoint Camp for a few years. He was injured on the job and forced him to retire. Donald enjoyed collecting coins and knives, and he loved his car.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant sister, LaDonna Joyce Fenter.
He is survived by his daughter, Emily McBroom; a son, Robert Maddox; sister, Marsha Bolay of Kingston, Oklahoma; several grandchildren; five nephews and one niece; and many great nephews and great nieces.
The family will have private services at a later date.
