Don Morris, of Caddo, Okla., passed from this life on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019 in Denison, Texas at the age of 71. He was born on Tuesday, July 13, 1948 in Caddo, Okla. to Andrew Leslie and Anita Jean (Morrow) Morris.
Don was a longtime resident of Caddo. He was a retired Vocational Agricultural instructor. He taught at Anderson, Mo., Nehawka, Neb. and Bokchito, Okla., where he retired. He enjoyed quail hunting, ranching and farming. He was a member of the U.S. National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Leslie and Anita Jean Morris.
Survivors include sons: Chad Morris of Caddo, Okla., Cooper Morris of Caddo, Okla.; daughter, Andrea Thompson of Caddo, Okla.; brother, Tommy Morris and wife Kim of Durant, Okla.; granddaughter, Miranda Thompson of Calera, Okla. and great-granddaughter, Trinity Pugh of Platter, Okla.
A funeral service was held Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019 at the Robinson Baptist Church, east of Caddo. Bro. Ross Phillips officiated.
Memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
