Dick Edgeman, of Durant, Okla. passed from this life on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at the age of 73. He was born on Tuesday, February 15, 1949 in Freer, Texas to Kenneth Leroy Edgeman and Helen Jean (Fry) Scott.
He married Joella “Diane” (Nelson) Edgeman on June 5, 1969 in Ardmore, Okla. He was a longtime resident of Durant and member of the Western Meadows Baptist Church. He served in the Army National Guard and was a registered nurse. His biggest hobby was soccer.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Leroy Edgeman; mother, Helen Jean (Fry) Scott; sisters, Shannon Edgeman and Debbie McEuin both of Ardmore, Okla.
Survivors include his wife, Diane (Nelson) Edgeman of the home; sons, Nathan Edgeman of Tishomingo, Okla., Nelson Scott Edgeman and wife Sabrina of Durant, Okla.; grandsons: Logan Edgeman of Coalgate, Okla., Easton Edgeman of Coalgate, Okla., Will Edgeman of Durant, Okla., AJay Edgeman of Durant, Okla., Eric Edgeman of Durant, Okla.; granddaughter, Cora Edgeman of Durant, Okla.; sister, Sherri Vick and husband Randy of Norman, Okla.; sister-in-law, Kathy Nelson of Yukon, Okla.; special friends, Ken and Carla Rainbolt of Durant, Okla., as well as five nieces and other extended family and friends.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 2, 2022 at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Ardmore, Okla. with Bro. Scott Spencer officiating.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Gordon Funeral Home, 221 N. Third Ave. in Durant.

Dick was a great employee. Dick was alway dependable. When the office stress was exploding., he had many ways to get every one to settle down and and keep getting the work done.God Bless Dick and his family
