DHS junior serves as page for state senator

OKLAHOMA CITY – Durant High School junior, Vivian Taylor, served as a Senate page for State Sen. Bullard, R-Durant, during the first week of the legislative session from February 4-7, 2019. Vivian is the daughter of Durant residents Steve and Christine Taylor, and her great uncle is Sen. Larry Boggs, R-Wilburton.

Vivian participates in band, soccer, Student Council, Future Health Professionals of America, and the Student Advisory Board. She volunteers with Student Council, Remote Area Medical clinics and Oklahoma Mission of Mercy. She also enjoys reading, traveling and playing the bassoon. After graduation, Vivian wants to go into the health care field, either in public health or as a health care provider.
