DESS begins previews of 2019 Parade of Homes

DURANT – The Durant Education and Service Sorority is happy to announce that the Annual Parade of Homes will take place on Sunday, Dec. 8. Homes on the tour will be open for viewing from 1-5 p.m. In conjunction with the Parade of Homes, there will be a gift show at Opera House Coffee, located at 200 Evergreen Streetfrom 12-5 p.m., with more than a dozen booths featuring beauty products, jewelry, clothing, and more!

Tickets are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. They can be purchased from any DESS member, as well as at Bliss Boutique, Marie’s, The Medicine Store, Hot Shots, and Kopper Kettle.

The first home featured belongs to Lance and Marisa Browder, and their two sons, Christian and Boston.  The home is located at 1972 Marie Drive in Durant. Lance is a Senior Director of I.T. for the Choctaw Nation, while Marisa keeps everything running smoothly at home.

Lance and Marisa have lived in the home since 2014, which is located in one of Durant’s most desirable neighborhoods hidden in the middle of town with large lots surrounded by mature trees.  Their beautiful home is of Tudor-style architecture, which was constructed in 1980.  The home consists of 3,950 square feet with four bedrooms, three and a half baths with the master suite featuring his and hers baths.  The home has extensive moldings, custom carpentry and ceilings, as well as timeless hardwood floors.

There is ample space to entertain and relax with a game room, entertaining room with a full-size bar, three fire places, as well as a pool and pool house with an additional full bathroom. The home has many unique features including ornate leaded glass and arched windows, multiple decorative archways throughout the home, and custom antique vanities.
