Dennis Stuber

Dennis Leroy “Denny” Stuber, of Kingston, Okla., passed from this life on Friday, Sept. 10, 2021 at the age of 71.  He was born on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 1950 in Toronto, Kan. to Harold Leroy Stuber and Beverly Ann (McJunkin) Stuber.

Dennis married Janice “Jan” Gibson on December, 24 1971 in Toronto, Kansas.

He was a resident of Kingston, Okla., previously living in Sanger, Texas and Belle Plaine, Kan. He enjoyed fishing, boating and parasailing. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of the US Army and served during the Viet Nam conflict.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jan Stuber and a grandson, Braydn Hammond-Stuber;
father, Harold Leroy Stuber and step-mother, Ruby Stuber; and mother, Beverly Ann (McJunkin) Kilian.

Survivors include his son, Dustin Stuber of Era, Texas; daughter, Jennifer Hunter and husband John of Era, Texas; grandsons: Dawson Stuber of Haysville, Kan., Gabriel Hunter of Era, Texas, Dyson Stuber of Haysville, Kan., Gage Hunter of Era, Texas; sisters, Debra Elder of Valley Center, Kan., Nancy Schubert and husband Noland of Pensacola, Fla.; step-brother, Kenny Stahmer and wife Cathy of Augusta, Kan.; sisters, Lisa Burden and husband Marion of Belle Plaine, Kan., Shelli Willard of Mulvane, Kan.; brother, Jody Kilian of Wichita, Kan.; his beloved pets, Tuffy and Tex as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and a host of friends.

A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, Sept. 17, 2021 at the Belle Plaine Cemetery in Belle Plaine, Kan.
