Debora Marlene Williams of Mead, Okla., passed away on February 5, 2023, in Denison, Texas. She was born in Pampa, Texas, on January 30, 1959, to Sam and Glendean (Bliss) Goodwin.

Debbie attended Coleman High School and then married Eddie Lynn Williams on September 1, 1978. Then she attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University and earned a bachelors in Education. She was known as a teacher and counselor to countless students in Bryan County before retiring in 2021. If you ever talked to her, you would have known that her true love was her husband and her boys Stacy and Kyle Williams.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Priscilla Hitchcock.

She is survived by her husband of many years, Eddie Williams; her boys, Stacy and Kyle Williams; brothers, Jerry Goodwin and wife Sharon of Kenefic, Okla., Dural Goodwin of Durant, Okla., Ronnie Goodwin and wife Susan of Overton, Texas; sister, Cindy Tadlock and husband Randy of Durant, Okla., and many nieces, nephews, sisters, and brother and laws as well as numerous friends.

Per Debbie Williams’s wishes, no funeral or graveside services will be conducted. It was her desire if asked that if someone wants to say goodbye, instead come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and when they are called to come home that they meet her in Heaven along a gentle stream and say hello and have a visit.
