David Ray Jenkins, age 71, of Colbert, Okla., passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2019 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. David was born on January 7, 1948 in Denison, Texas to Bill and Bertie Whitten Jenkins.
He married Theresa Pyburn on September 2, 1977. He was a Christian and member of the Church of Christ in Colbert, Okla.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa Jenkins of Colbert, Okla.; his mother, Bertie Jenkins of Colbert, Okla.; his children: Brandon Jenkins and Christi of Princeton, Texas, Terri Grimes of Colbert, Okla., Traci Sloan of Van Alstyne, Texas; his sister, Gail Trammell of Colbert, Okla.; six grandchildren: Chase, Nicholas, Chelsea, Chad, Valarie and Tuesday; four great-grandchildren: Kadyn, Kylee, Elliot, Tinley and other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Jenkins.
