David Davis of Durant, Okla., passed away on January 27, 2023, in Sherman, Texas. He was born in Durant on January 18, 1959, to R.C. Davis and Lorene Roach Davis. David graduated from business school and then married Brenda Carrol Johnson Davis on October 20, 1983.
David served as an AF Airman, 1st class for four years until his honorable discharge. He then went on to become a landlord and a forklift operator. He was interested in teaching kids to weld, wood working and training dogs.
He is preceded in death by his parents, R.C. Davis and Lorene Roach Davis; wife, Brenda Carrol Davis, brother, Lloyd Davis; sister-in-law, Donna Duncan Davis; brother-in-law, Dillard Davis and granddaughter, Nevaeh.
He is survived by his sons, Calvin Brett and Victor Ray Davis; daughters, Debra Annie, DeAnn Darling and Renita Carrol Davis; sister, Eunice Davis of Durant, Okla.; brother, Charles Davis and wife Patty of Bokchito, Okla.; and his 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, February 17, 2023, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel in Durant.
