Darren Ray Gantt

Darren Ray Gantt was born on February 20, 2008 in Durant, Okla., to Derrell and Stephanie (Gifford) Gantt. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Tammy Gifford. Darren was welcomed into the loving arms of the Lord the afternoon of January 14, 2022.

Darren was a trickster and loved aggravating his brother. He was a proud Swink Wildcat and liked playing basketball. Darren loved playing with Legos and hanging out with his friends at school. He loved to draw and enjoyed playing Mario Brothers. He was a kindhearted young man and so easy to love. Darren will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Darren is survived by his father, Derrell of Valliant, Okla.; mother, Stephanie of Valliant, Okla.; brother, Dylan of  Valliant, Okla.; grandparents, Tracy Sipes of Idabel, Okla.; Daniel Gantt of Millerton, Okla.; Debbie Wyatt of Valliant, Okla.; numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, friends and loved ones.

A funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022, at the First Baptist Church in Valliant.
