Cynthia Ann Pearson Scott was born on Nov. 4, 1955 in Honey Grove, Texas to James and Jamimia McFail Pearson. Cynthia passed from this life on May 1, 2019 in Durant, Okla. at the age of 63.
Cynthia graduated from high school in Honey Grove and later married Eddie E. Scott on Aug. 17, 1974. To this union was born two children, Kenney and Tiffany. Cynthia worked for Staff One Company in Durant until her retirement. Cynthia dearly loved her family and was very active her in grandchildren’s lives attending all of their activities that she could. 
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, James and Jamimia Pearson; sister, Addie Jo Spearman and brother, James Ray Pearson.
Cynthia is survived by her husband of 44-plus years, Eddie E. Scott; son, Kenney Scott and wife Shelly; daughter, Tiffany Scott; grandchildren, Kristan Scott, Alexis Scott, Reece Scott and Greyson Brumley; brother, Mike Pearson; sister, Mary Jo Pat; cousin, Gwen ; niece, Virginia Nell; nephew, Freeman Jr. and numerous extended family and friends. 
Funeral services will b held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2019 at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Lawrence Scott officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Honey Grove, Texas with Kaine Smith, Shane Smith, Toby Chaffin, Paul Sweeney, Jerry Robbins and Jason Brady
serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon from 2-4 p.m.. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.brownsfuneralservice.com.
