City of Durant announces new fee schedule

At the City Council Meeting on Tuesday, June 13, the Durant City Council voted to approve Resolution 2023-08, amending the fee schedule for services provided. The updated fee schedule will take effect on Tuesday, August 1.

Departments with updated fees include Durant Regional Airport, Neighborhood Services, Durant Fire Department, Donald W. Reynolds Library and Community Center, Sanitation and Utilities.

A new fee for lavatory services has been established for Durant Regional Airport. The cost of hangar rentals, call-outs, parking and ramp fees will remain the same.

The Durant Fire Department will now have a standard rate for review of fire suppression, alarm and sprinkler plans.

The Donald W. Reynolds Library and Community Center will have updated room rental fees, as well as a new charge for 3-D and resin printing.

Sanitation will have new prices for residential and commercial polycart services, as well as an increase in cost for tire collection. Residential and commercial water, sewer and trash customers will also see an increase in costs. These changes will be reflected in the September billing cycle.
