Christopher Jay Welch, of Hollis, Okla., passed from this life on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at the age of 44. He was born on Monday, July 24, 1978 in Talihina, Okla., to Danny Jay and Valerie Gwen (Wigington) Welch. 
He grew up in Silo, Okla., and he enjoyed fishing, cooking, welding, traveling and riding his Harley. He loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his sons, Matthew Jay Welch of Hollis, Okla., Marshal Tate Welch of Hollis, Okla.; daughters, Kynnady Rose Welch of Hollis, Okla., Jaylynn Brille Welch of San Diego, Calif., Krystal Denise Thomason and husband Jordan of Hollis, Okla.; grandchildren: Layken Yvonne Frank of Hollis, Okla., Charles Reid Thomason of Hollis, Okla., Bentley David Thomason of Hollis, Okla.; parents, Danny Jay and Valerie Gwen (Wigington) Welch of Silo, Okla.; brothers, Chuck Welch and wife Carrie of Bonham, Texas, Kyle Welch and wife Jillian of Buena Park, Calif.; dog, Margaret Welch; paternal grandmother, Ula Mae Foote and maternal grandmother, Christie Despain as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Cremation services have been selected.
