BRYAN COUNTY – COVID put a halt to many activities in 2020, but some of the standard holiday activities are set to go for this season. Among those are parades throughout the county.
The first Christmas parade in 2021 will take place in Durant on Tuesday night. The theme for this year is the “Polar Express.” It will run its regular route eastward on Main Street starting at 7 p.m.
On Saturday, Dec. 11, the long-running tradition of the Christmas parade in Calera is ready to go again this year with the theme, “Miracle on McKinley.” The parade route goes between Washington and McKennon on McKinley and the event will start at 7 p.m.
And on Thursday, Dec. 16, Bokchito hosts its annual parade. This year’s theme is “Gnome for the Holidays.” Starting at 6 p.m., the parade will go from Buzz Street to the Quick Trip.
Enjoy the Christmas season in Bryan County!
