DURANT – The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma will be modifying its annual Labor Day Festival to be held Sept. 4 to Sept. 6 at Tuskahoma.

The Choctaw Nation will be approaching this year’s Labor Day Festival with a commitment to celebrating our tribal culture while having an awareness of public health,” Chief Gary Batton said.

The well-known event schedule is being narrowed to focus on cultural events and activities. All concerts and festival rides have been canceled.

The modifications also include a virtual approach to the State of the Nation address to be delivered by Chief Batton. The annual address will be available September 7, across Choctaw Nation’s digital channels including, Facebook, YouTube, and website.

The 2020 schedule of events is being updated and will be available at a later date. Please refer to the Choctaw Nation social media outlets and official website at www.choctawnation.com for the latest information.
