Charlotte Louise Whitten, of Colbert, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, at the age of 65 in Denison, Texas. She was born on December 26, 1959, in Durant, Oklahoma, to Walter “Mack” and Tommie (Whatley) McDonald.
Charlotte was a homemaker and enjoyed the simple pleasure of sewing. She enjoyed caring for others and sitting with those that needed companionship or babysitting.
She is survived by her son, Brandon McDonald, and his wife, Britni, of Bells, Texas, her grandchildren Brody and Chloe, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Mack and Tommie McDonald, and her sisters, Cleta Pittman and Mickey Bruce.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 2025, at Hagerman Baptist Church, 4619 Refuge Road in Sherman, Texas. A simple lunch will be provided for the family immediately following.
Services are under the care of Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home, 121 N. Fifth Ave. in Durant.
