Charlotte Jones, 71, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, Oct. 17, at home in Durant, Okla., surrounded by her loving family. Charlotte was born to Paul “Dude” and Audrey Wilson on March 12, 1948, in Perry, Ark.
Charlotte graduated from Porterville Unified High School, in Porterville, Calif. On April 23, 1971, she married her late husband Charles Allen Jones Sr.
She was a loving mother and wife who greatly enjoyed her family. Charlotte was a collector of everything, stamps, dolls and coins. She was a member of Bromide Baptist Church in Bromide, Okla..
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Paul “Dude” and Audrey Margaret Wilson; her loving husband, Charles Allen Jones Sr.; daughter, Audra “Cissy” Jones; brothers, Bernie Dean Summers, Richard Paul Wilson, and Bobby Dean Wilson.
Charlotte is survived by son, Jimmy Harold Jones and wife Liza of Durant, Okla.; son, Charles Allen Jones Jr. and wife Rhonda of Durant, Okla.; sister-in-law, Linda Gibbs and husband Jerry of Asheville, N.C.; granddaughter, Jamie Marie Beasley and husband James of Alabama; granddaughter, Jessica Marie Buchannan and husband James of California; granddaughter, Jimmie Sue Jones of California; and grandson, Charles Allen Jones III and wife Nicole of California; and nine beloved great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Browns Funeral Service, 4900 W Hwy 70, Durant, Okla.
