Charles Ray Holland, of Durant, Okla., passed from this life on Friday, July 31, 2020 at the age of 78. He was born on Wednesday, July 15, 1942 in Nida, Okla. to Harvey N. and Mildred N. (Hanson) Holland.
He was an entrepreneur. He enjoyed fishing and visiting old friends at the coffee shop. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey N. and Mildred N. (Hanson) Holland; brothers: Dewayne Holland and Don Holland; grandsons: Gary Heath Johnson, Mason Paul Gillis, Anthony Ryan Holland.
Survivors include his son, Tony Holland of Durant, Okla.; daughters: Angie Eaton of Durant, Okla., Michelle Morgan of Durant, Okla., Shauna Gillis of Durant, Okla.; brother, Troy Holland of Durant, Okla.; sister, Wanda Maples of Bonham, Texas; grandsons: Ty Meade of Cartwright, Okla., Dustin Morgan of Kenefic, Okla., Justin Stephens of Durant, Okla., Camron Holland of Spearsville, La., Matthew Gillis of Durant, Okla., Coal Morgan of Durant, Okla.; granddaughters: Erica Turner of Florida, Takisha Stevenson of Durant, Okla., Summer Smith of Hope, Ark., Maxie Holland of Spearsville, La., Sierra Clymer of Durant, Okla., Chamberlyn Gillis of Durant, Okla.; stepson, Anthony Downs of Durant, Okla.; stepdaughter, Lacy Roberts of Durant, Okla. as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
A family visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the Monterey Chapel, 224 S. Ninth Ave. in Durant, Okla.
