Charles W. Crawford was born April 14, 1957, to Kennith Carl and Minnie Crawford in Sequoyah, Okla. He passed away on February 26, 2024. Charles moved to Bryan County in 2009 from Socorro, N.M. He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed woodworking. He proudly served in the United States Navy. He entered the Navy in July 1974 and was honorably discharged in March 1981. He served as plane captain and his final qualification was an aviation structural mechanic. He was awarded the Battle E Ribbon, the Good Conduct Medal, and the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents Kennith Carl and Minnie Crawford his wife Sandra Faye Crawford and his daughter Candy Renee Worthen. His his brother Eddie Crawford and grandson Joshua Sohler.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughter Lacey Davidson and husband Kevin of Calera and their four precious children, and his six siblings.
A celebration of life with Military Honors is set for 2 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2024, at Brown’s Durant Funeral Service.
