Casey Don Lowery

Casey Don Lowery, 28, passed from this life on May 4, 2019, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City after a month long battle from injuries sustained from a car accident. Casey was born March 28, 1991, in Denison, Texas. He was raised in Cartwright, Okla. and graduated high school in Colbert, Okla. in 2010.

Casey lived his life the way he wanted to, by his rules, and never cared what anyone thought about him or his choices. He loved his family and his friends, but out of everyone he respected his dad the most. Despite their hard heads and many differences, Casey always knew his dad was there if he needed him.

Casey had two beautiful daughters whom he loved very much. He loved being at the lake with his family and loved to spend time on the water in a kayak. He was a thrill seeker and definitely lived life on the edge. Casey had a crazy sense of humor and would say or do whatever to make someone laugh. Casey will be missed by everyone that knew and loved him.

Casey is survived by: daughters, Serenity of Cartwright, Okla., and Anna of Sherman, Texas;
parents, Ronnie and Ruthie Lowery of Cartwright, Okla. and Tina and Bryan Schneider of Gainesville, Texas; grandparents, James and Theresa Duke of Sherman, Texas, Nita Burns of Whitesboro, Texas, and Ronnie Lowery Sr. of Denison, Texas; sister, Rachel and fiancé Joe of Calera, Okla.; brother, Jed and wife Alicia of Durant, Okla.; sister, Trisha and husband Caleb of Whitesboro, Texas; Brother, Clayton of Gainesville, Texas; and also survived by numerous aunts and uncles, two nieces, a nephew, many cousins and friends.

Casey is preceded in death by grandparents, Kenneth and Jewell Leonard and grandfather, Danny Burns.

Family night is scheduled for Wednesday, Mar. 8 from 6-8 p.m. with a graveside service on Thursday, May 9, at 1 p.m at the Melissa Cemetery in Melissa, Texas. Tonya King will officiate. Casketbearers are Edward Lowery, Kayden Lowery, Joe Walters, Clayton Hunter, Collin Burns, and Richard Burns
