Carol Ann Hunter of Ardmore, Oklahoma, was born on December 13, 1959, in Arlington, Texas to Weldon Joe and Velma Fay (Sharp) Hunter. Carol passed away on August 8, 2023, in Denison, Texas at the age of 63. Carol attended school at Lone Grove and worked in retail sales until her retirement. She had a deep love for her family, and she treasured the time she spent with them. 
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, Weldon Joe and Velma Fay (Sharp) Hunter and sister, Tammy Ray Davis.
Loved ones left behind to continue her legacy are her brother, Bobby Joe Hunter and wife Margaret of Edmond, Oklahoma; daughters, Kimberly Ann Smith and husband Terry of Ardmore, Oklahoma, and Patricia Dawn Sanders and husband Chris of Calera, Oklahoma; grandson, Adam Ray Smith of Ardmore, Oklahoma; granddaughter, Samantha Marie Leonard and husband Cody of Calera, Oklahoma and numerous extended family and friends.
The family received friends on Saturday evening August 12, 2023, at Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service..
