OKLAHOMA CITY – At least one Bryan County team will advance past the quarterfinal round of the OSSAA Class 4A slow-pitch softball tournament.
But on the other hand, only one.
No. 7 Calera and No. 3 Silo were paired in the first round of the bracket. Both teams made it to the state tournament in 2017 – Calera fell, 5-3, to Latta, while Washington narrowly escaped Silo, 16-15.
In Class 3A, No. 2 Caddo looks to make its run a step further than last season. The Lady Bruins advanced to the State Semifinals with a with a 16-5 win over Fort Towson, before falling to Tushka, 8-2.
