CADDO – Caney put four runs on the board in the top of the first, but the Caddo defense did not let the Cougars score again.
The Lady Bruins scored nine straight over the next five innings and put Caney away, 9-4, for a home victory.
Caddo (5-3) got a complete game from Kylee Anderson in the circle. Anderson was roughed up a bit in the opening stanza, giving up those four runs on three hits, but stiffened up after that. She logged 12 outs in 15 batters through the final four innings.
The Lady Bruins were led at the plate by Kadence Boehme, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and scored a run. Karlee Robison and Emily Robinson each had a hit and an RBI and Robison drew three walks.
Caddo heads to southern Bryan County on Tuesday to take on Colbert.
