C. Pandora (Freeman) Norris passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, in Denison, Texas at the age of 78. She was born on July 3, 1947, in Mead, Oklahoma to W. A. and Cleopatra (Nikes) Freeman. She married her husband Calvin Norris on April 23, 1993, in Sherman, Texas.
Professionally, Pandora was a Registered Nurse, retiring from Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. She graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University and from Grayson County College. Pandora loved collecting all kinds of stuff from antiques to collectibles.
Left behind to cherish Pandora’s memory is her husband Calvin Norris of the home; daughters: Tammy Dawn Johnson of Sherman, Texas, and Cheri Christine Odom of Denison, Texas; and her sons: Brent Ervin of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Kelly Norris of Denison, Texas.
She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, along with her sister Shirley Shepard of Durant, Oklahoma.
Preceding Pandora in death are her parents W. A. and Cleopatra Freeman, and her two brothers John Freeman and Leonard Freeman.
Family hour and visitation will be held Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 9 a.m. in the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home Chapel at 121 N. 5th Ave in Durant, Oklahoma, followed by a memorial service at 10 a.m. also in the Chapel.
Bro. Kregg Matson and Bro. Kerry Groce will officiate.
