Buddie Lou had a passion for travel and adventure. She shared this love with her family, traveling the world with her kids and grandchildren. She always seemed to hold the lucky bingo card, tracking her bingo winnings annually, and proud of the year ends results. She was an entrepreneur with her late husband James and built an impressive real estate legacy where she spoiled those earnings on her family. The key to Buddie’s heart was simple, quality time and a warm chocolate chip cookie with those who loved her, and as Buddie Lou would say in return,“Love you Back.”
Buddie Lou passed away at her home in Covina, Calif. in the early hours on December 18, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her children, (Son) James “Edd” Horn, Jr. and wife Rachelle Horn, (Daughter) Susan L. Horn and husband Carl Rinn, and (Son) Jason A. Horn. Grandchildren: Andrew Miller and wife Elise, Alicia Miller, Jacob Horn, Erik Horn, Tallen Horn, and Lila Horn. Great Grand Children Andy Miller, Bobby Miller, and Oliver Miller.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022 at Highland Cemetery with Pastor Brent Smith officiating. Buddie Lou will be buried at the family grave site next to her husband, James.
Services are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service, Durant.
