The Caddo Bruins are No. 4 in Class A heading into the new year and won’t have to wait long to be tested.
Caddo travels to No. 8 Rattan on Thursday in a Top 10 matchup that could be a preview of a playoff game in just more than a month.
The Bruins are 9-1 on the year after a 30-point win over Boswell on Tuesday night, defeating the Scorpions, 90-60.
Caddo opened the season with eight straight wins, but fell in the final game of 2021, 69-62, in the championship of the Savanna Tournament to undefeated Pittsburg.
The Lady Bruins are also 9-1 so far and are ranked No. 5 in Class A. The girls blew out Boswell, 88-27, on Tuesday.
Both teams travel to Rattan on Thursday and are back at home on Friday to host Coalgate.
Caddo’s junior varsity teams will be competing in the Red River Shootout this week in Achille.
