BRYAN COUNTY – A Broken Bow man was thrown from his vehicle Monday morning trying to evade law enforcement. The pursuit took him into north Bryan County.
Joshua Rember, 24, was driving a 2005 truck westbound on Oklahoma Highway 22 during the pursuit and at about 5:15 a.m. exited the roadway about a mile west of Kenefic, according to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The truck rolled one and a half times and struck a tree. Rember was ejected about 15 feet from the vehicle.
He was transported by Air Evac to Medical City of McKinney, Texas with head and internal trunk injuries and listed in stable condition. There were no passengers and he was not wearing his seat belt, according to the report.
The OHP was assisted in the investigation by the Thackerville Police Department, the Madill Police Department, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, and Bryan County Sheriff’s Department.
