Brendon Thomas Lee Collins

Brendon Thomas Lee Collins, 29, passed away on June 28, 2026. Though his journey through life was not an easy one, he is now at peace and free from the pain he carried for so long. He was born on October 9, 1996.

Brendon was many things. He could be stubborn, sarcastic, and quick-witted, always finding a way to make people laugh, even in the darkest moments. Beneath his rough edges was a deeply caring heart. He loved fiercely and gave his love freely, even when it wasn’t always returned. More than anything, Brendon wanted to love and to be loved in return.

If he couldn’t find that love in people, he found it in animals, especially dogs. He had a habit of bringing home every stray or abandoned dog he came across, often taking them back to his dad’s house because he couldn’t bear to leave them behind. His compassion extended to anyone or anything that needed love, and he never hesitated to open his heart, even when his own was hurting. His greatest joy in life was being a father. No matter the hardships he faced or the struggles he endured, he never stopped loving his children. His love for them remained constant, and they will forever carry a piece of him in their hearts.

Brendon is finally reunited with those he missed so dearly, especially his beloved mother, Kelli Collins, whose absence he carried with him every day. We find comfort in believing that his greatest wish has come true, that he is once again in her embrace.

Brendon was preceded in death by his mother, Kelli Collins; his Granny, Mary Sue Wilson; his Aunt Gail Joplin; his Uncle Brian Joplin; and his grandparents, Larry and Cheri Joplin.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Zane Gene Lee Collins; his daughter, Journi Victoria Collins; his father, T.C. Collins Sr.; his brother, Taylor Collins Jr., and his family, Jasper and Kendra; his sister, Stormi Brown, and her family, Brilyn, U’Neiq, and Joel; his sister, Krissy Collins, and her family, Brian, Aleigha, and Anna; along with many other relatives and friends who loved him and will miss him dearly.

Brendon was far from perfect, but he was deeply loved. Those who knew him will remember his humor, his big heart, and the unwavering love he had for his family. Though his time with us was far too short, his memory will live on through the lives he touched and the people who loved him. May he finally find the peace, love, and comfort he searched for throughout his life. Rest easy, Brendon. You are loved, and you will never be forgotten.

“The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come. He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭57‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭‬‬‬‬‬‬
