Bradley Jacob Butler

Bradley Jacob Butler, 19, of Madill, Oklahoma, heroically passed away January 20, 2026, at his home. Brad was born August 2, 2006, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to Bambi Butler and Bobby Hills. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend—known for his loving heart, humor, kindness, selflessness, and wild-unforgettable laugh, which lit up the room. He kept us on our toes for you never knew what he would do next.

When Brad was born his lung collapsed, he had to be medi-flighted to Norman, and it wasn’t certain whether he would make it through the night. Lots of prayers, and they still expected him to be there for months, but with God’s healing he was able to come home after only 10 days. We were blessed to have 19 more years with him, and although it doesn’t feel like enough, we’re grateful for them.

Brad graduated from Madill High School in 2024. Brad enjoyed gaming, working at Taco Bell in Madill, horror movies, and spending time with the light of his life, his fiancée, Kya. He cherished moments with family and friends—whether fishing with his brothers or sitting around a fire pit in the yard. Those simple moments meant everything to him.

Brad is survived by fiancée, Kya Oldham, Madill; mother and stepfather, Bambi and John Phillips, Lebanon; father, Bobby Hills, Ardmore; his Nana, Mary Butler, of the home; paternal grandmother, Carol Hills, Oklahoma City; brothers: Michael Caldwell, wife Peyton, kids Cope and Elie, of Coleman, Austin Pumphrey, girlfriend Heather Davis, Madill, Dakota Pumphrey, wife Ashley, daughter Chrissy, Ardmore, and Terry Butler, Madill; sister, Jordan Phillips, Lebanon; fiancée’s family, Kelton, Ray, and Michael, Madill; aunt, Michelle Butler, Madill; cousins, Makayla Hills, Brazelyn Cheadle, Nova Cheadle and Skylar Hills, Midwest City, Danielle Hills, Envii Clerkley, Lorenzo Clerkley, Ardmore; along with many other cousins and cherished bonus family members.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Michael Jay Butler; maternal great-grandparents, J.D. and Lenora Butler, Ardmore, W.D. and Rutha Sprouse, Greenville, Texas; paternal grandfather, Don Hills, Ardmore; and last, but definitely not least, his angel twin, Starr Oldham, of the home.

Brad will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. Special thanks to Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma, the First Methodist Church of Madill, Oklahoma, along with the Red Cross and our community for the love, support, and donations.

A Celebration of Life and Memorial Service will be held at Brad, Kya, and Kelton’s youth church, First Methodist Church of Madill on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 4:00 p.m., followed by a Family Hour Visitation and sharing memories after the service.
