DURANT – The Durant unit of the Boys & Girls Club of Red River Valley Oklahoma received a $11,500 grant on June 1, 2023, from the Taco Bell Foundation to support youth in Durant. The funds will go toward programs supporting youth education and career readiness.

K-MAC Enterprises, the local Taco Bell franchisee, is thrilled to support the Durant unit of the Boys & Girls Club of Red River Valley Oklahoma.

“Thanks to the generosity of our Taco Bell customers who participated in the Round Up program by rounding up their order total to the nearest dollar, the Taco Bell Foundation and K-MAC Enterprises are able to support the Boys & Girls Club of Durant as they provide local youth with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in life,” said Tina Reagan, CEO of K-MAC Enterprises.

The Durant unit of the Boys & Girls Club of Red River Valley Oklahoma was one of 450-plus youth-serving organizations that received a portion of the $15 million in Community Grants presented by the Taco Bell Foundation this year. The grants are an example of the Taco Bell Foundation’s mission to break down barriers to education and fuel young people’s boldest ambitions.

A check presentation will be held Tuesday, June 20 at 10:00 a.m. at the Boys & Girls Club of Durant at 415 N. 5th Street in Durant. Media and press are invited to attend.
