Boyce “Bo” Edmond Daniel, 81 of Durant, Okla. went to be with his Heavenly Father on January 5, 2019 in Dallas, TX. He was born on Nov. 2, 1937 in Wade, Okla. to Paul David and Eula Lee (Kent) Daniel.
Bo married the love of his life, Mary Ellen Dougherty, on July 30, 1959 in Miami, FL. They have been married for 59 years. They moved their family back here in 1976 and started Daniel Heat and Air. Bo was in the Asphalt Angels in Dallas and the Moose Lodge in FL. He also loved his motorcycle, fishing, hunting, and his family. Bo attended church at St. William’s Catholic Church.
Bo is preceded in death by his parents, baby brother, sister Mildred Lee Cernech, and grandchildren Katy Jolly and Eric Eshelman.
Bo is survived by his wife Mary Ellen Daniel of the home, daughter Laura Daniel of Taft, Okla., Kent Daniel and wife Brenda of Durant, Okla., daughter Pamela Poston of Durant, Okla., daughter Julia Maples of Durant, Okla., daughter Victoria Dyer of Austin, Texas, 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, Jan. 11, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at St. William Catholic Church with Father Joseph officiating. Pallbearers will be Kent Daniel, Paul Dylan Powell, Dalton Powell, Boyce Powell, Michael Eshelman, and Gary Don Jolly. Family visitation will be held on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Service.
