An 18-month-old boy was killed in eastern Bryan County on Wednesday evening.
Alec Fuller, 29, of Stillwater, was starting a 2005 Peterbilt on private property south of Bennington at about 8:54 p.m., according to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The truck was started in gear, causing it to lunge forward and it struck the boy. As a juvenile, his name has been withheld.
The cause of the collision was improper start from the parked position, according to the report.
