LAKE TEXOMA – A body that was floating in Lake Texoma was recovered on Sunday afternoon near the Willis Bridge.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to call reporting the sighting under the U.S. Highway 377 bridge connecting Oklahoma and Texas.
The body was recovered by Marshall County Search and Rescue, and was taken to the local boat ramp. From there, it was sent to Watts Funeral Home of Madill by the Medical Examiner’s Office for investigation.
The initial information is that it is a suicide, according to the report from the OHP, and the investigation has been turned over to Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.
