Robert “Bobby” Dale Russell, 67, passed away Sunday, Feb. 2, 2020 in Tulsa, Okla. Bobby was born on Feb. 19, 1952, to Robert and Laquata Russell in Durant, Okla.
Bobby attended Durant Public Schools and worked for the city of Durant as a sanitation worker for 37 years. Bobby married the love of his life Patsy Faught on June 16, 1978 in Durant. He was a good provider and family man.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents Robert Isaac Russell and Laquata Joyce (Townesend) Russell as well as Lloyd Dean Thrift and Tana Sparkman. 
Bobby is survived by his wife of the home Patsy Russell of Durant, Okla.; his children: Troy Thrift of Durant, Okla., Pam Sparkman and husband Dan of Gordonville, Texas, Robert Russell for Durant, Okla., Laquata Jean Howard of Durant, Okla., Christy Delgado of San Antonio, Texas, Thomas Russell of Durant, Okla.; siblings Wanda Evans of Tulsa, Okla., Sue Roberts and husband Gary of Tulsa, Okla., Lois Wright and husband Thomas of Savoy, Texas, and Ronnie Dean Russell and wife Jaylen of Stillwell, Okla.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. 
Funeral services are Thursday, Feb. 6 at 2 p.m. at Browns Funeral Service in Durant, with burial to follow at Restland Cemetery in Silo, Okla. Family will receive family and friends for a visitation on Wednesday Feb. 5, 2020 from 6-7 p.m. at Browns Funeral Service in Durant.
