Bobby Gene Fuller

Bobby (Bob) Gene Fuller, a proud veteran of the United States Army during the Korean War, entered his rest on June 27, 2021, at the age of 88. He was born on February 14, 1933, in Durant, Okla. to Eugene (Gene) Vdabbs Fuller and Dorothy Louise (Shelton) Fuller. Bob married his beloved Linda Sue Ladd in Durant, Okla. on Dec. 22, 1961.

Bob served his country in the Army during the Korean War. He was a devoted servant of his Lord and Savior serving as the DAV Chapter 26 Chaplain and Commander. Bob loved his church family at the Calvary Baptist Church in Durant. He played minor league baseball for the Tigers, eventually coaching little league. Bob was very active and enjoyed being on a bowling league and was considered a jack of all trades by all who knew him. He was a humble man with an ornery streak and a master escape artist. Bob was a loving husband, daddy and Papo.

Mr. Fuller is survived by his cherished wife Linda of Calera, Okla.; beloved daughters, Kathy Fuller of Utah, Pamela Larmouth of Utah, Camille Chan of McKinney, Texas, Cynthia Horton of Calera, Okla. and Kimberly Dehart of Wichita Falls, Texas; and by 16 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Fuller was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Jacob Karns and great-granddaughter.

Family hour will be from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Okla.

A celebration of his life will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 30 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Durant, Okla. with Daryl Bunch officiating. His final earthly resting place will be the Highland Cemetery in Durant with Michael Horton, Winston Chan, Spencer Chan, Homer Boyett, Thad Rucker, Christopher Galbreath and Chad Gore as pallbearers.

The honorary pallbearers will be Robbie Horton, Ashley Inman, Allie Larmouth, Walter Wooten, Zachariah Rucker, Jared Karns, Joseph Karns, Elliott Chan, Bradley Ballard, Desiree Galbreath and Terah Motzkus.

Services are under the direction of Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Okla.
