Beverly “Sue” Stair, of Durant, Okla., passed from this life on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at the age of 69. She was born on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 1951 in Durant, Okla. to B.J. and Bobbie Jewel (Holt) Cooper.
She was a lifelong resident of Durant, Okla. Her hobbies include working in the garden, flowers and shopping. She was the owner and operator of Sue’s Daycare for 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, B.J. and Mary Cooper, Bobbie Jewel and Guy Covington and her husband, Edward Lee Stair.
She is survived by sons, Shane Hurst and wife Kari of Durant, Okla., Michael Shawn Hurst of Durant, Okla.; granddaughters: Sheriden Franks and husband Philip of Durant, Okla., Cooper Shane Hurst of Durant, Okla.; great-grandson, Preston Franks of Durant, Okla.; great-granddaughter, Joslin Franks of Durant, Okla.; sisters: Debbie Richardson of Sherman, Texas, Tammy Cross of Durant, Okla., Sheila Garner of Durant, Okla.; brother, Corey Cooper and wife Stephanie of Mead, Okla. as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a special friend Betty “B.J.: Dillon.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date due to COVID.
