Beverly Ann (Perkins) Elizondo of Chickasha, Okla., passed from this life on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the age of 70. She was born on Sunday, March 28, 1954 in DeRidder, Louisiana to Ebbie and Laverne Odine (White) Perkins.
She was originally of DeRidder, La., and has resided in Oklahoma since 1994.
She was a hard-working woman that gave 110% in everything she did. She worked many jobs over the years, including fulfilling a dream of owning her own home daycare. Her greatest joy in life was taking care of her grandbabies and spending time with her family. She loved them fiercely. She loved being outside and could be found in the yard tending her plants or sitting at the back door smoking a cigarette.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ebbie and Laverne Odine (White) Perkins and sister, Joyce Marie Perkins.
Survivors include her daughters: Michelle Smith and husband Brent of Bennington, Okla., Reshelle Morvant of Chickasha, Okla.; sisters: Juanita Honea of DeRidder, La., Peggie Russell of Falcon, Ark.; brother, Ebbie D. Perkins and wife Brenda of DeRidder, La.; her grandchildren that were her life: Mystal “Pooh” Perkins and wife Jessica of Oklahoma City, Okla., Aaron Smith and wife Amy of Albion, Okla., Jessica Bullbear Smith of Huntsville, Ark., Madyson “Sassy” Helm and husband Kris of Whitesboro, Okla., Blake “Hoss” Smith of Sallisaw, Okla., Emori Pettit of El Reno, Okla., Abbegail “Peaches” Pettit, Addyson “Poppie” Pettit, and Kaden Stephenson of Chickasha; great-grandchildren: Beckham “Boo Boo”, Keaton “Tooter Lane”, Noah, Avah, Kristopher, Kaven; special friends Pam (Keith) Morgan, Nancy McCaslin-Massey; her constant companion yorkie, Miss Libby as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family and friends.
A family visitation will be held prior to the service at 1 p.m., with the service beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Gordon Funeral Home in Durant, Okla., with Pastor Brent Smith officiating.
