Betty Woods

Betty Woods, 59, of Durant, passed from this life on Thursday, July 29, 2021 in Durant.

Betty came to Durant six years ago from Denison, Texas. She loved taking care of her grandchildren and being with her family. She enjoyed watching television, her favorite shows were NCIS, the Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon, Big Brother and Walker, Texas Ranger.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Floy Payton.

Betty leaves behind her loving family: daughters, Rosabelle Byrd of Amarillo, Texas and Katrina Woods and her husband, Brian of Durant, Okla.; son, Robert Woods of Calera, Okla.; grandkids: Christian Payton, Jordis Byrd, Caden Woods and Raiden Woods; a sister, Peggy Beavers of Shawnee, Okla.; nephews, Derek Perry and his wife Tiffany of Jones, Okla. and Teague Beavers of Shawnee, Okla.

Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 3, from 6-8 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Service.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 4, in Brown’s Funeral Chapel with Bro. Tommy Green officiating.
