On December 9, 2021, Betty Welch went to be with our Loving Savior Jesus. She was born on May 23, 1932.
Betty Welch and James Thomas Welch were married on June 14, 1953. She went to Grayson Nursing program and graduated with her LPN in the 1970s. She worked in many different hospitals, but found her true passion in the nursing home. Betty and J.T. traveled many years after they retired, ministering to many people. Betty just loved people and helping any way she could.
She is survived by her husband, James Thomas Welch; sons, David Welch spouse Keith Welch, Samuel Welch; sister, Norma Quassa Smith; grandchildren: Therese Lowther and spouse Brad Lowther, Brett Welch, Heather Galvan, April Green and spouse Robert Green, Josh Welch and spouse Kimberly King, Mindi Allen and spouse Jason Allen, Joey Welch; great-grandchildren: Aden Lowther, Titus Lowther, Maddison Ellis, Christopher Frith, Peyton Welch, Michael King, Angelina Torres, Ashlyn Garner, Haylee Allen, Taylor Allen, Ryela Johnson, Ryker Johnson.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
A funeral service was held Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021 at Oakridge Baptist Church, in Denison, Texas.
