Betty Sue (Rich) Horner

Betty Sue (Rich) Horner, a resident of Bokchito, Okla., left this life and joined her Lord and Savior, at her home on Jan. 28, 2019 at the age of 87. She was born in Bennington, Okla. on Oct. 28, 1931 to Robert and Lester (Jones) Rich.

Betty was considered very crafty and loved to make things with her hands. She enjoyed: sewing, quilting, crocheting, wood crafts, and stained-glass work.

Mrs. Horner was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Bill Horner, Sr.; cherished son, Bill Horner, Jr.; sisters: Juanita Lowry, Imogene Horner, Peggy Smith; and one great-grandson.

Mrs. Horner is survived by her beloved daughter, Beck Furr and husband David of West Fork, Ark.; grandchildren: Billy Dell Horner and wife Amanda of Duncanville, Texas, John Horner of Ava, Mo., Amanda Furr of Little Rock, Ark., and Mercede Furr of West Fork, Ark.; brother, Joe Rich and wife Sue of Garland, Texas; sister, Lucy Rich of Bokchito, Okla.; three great-grandsons and three great-great, granddaughters; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Family hour will be from 7-8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 1 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Okla. A service in her honor will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 2 at the First Baptist Church in Bennington with Bro. Anthony Williams officiating.

Her final resting place will be the Bennington Cemetery with David Furr, John Horner, Billy Horner, Christopher Horner, Joe Franklin, and Robert Harrell as pallbearers. Her honorary pallbearers will be Monte Horner and Stanley Davis.

Services are under the direction of Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma
