Benjamin Keith Lamar of Mead, Okla., passed from this life on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the age of 60. He was born on Thursday, January 2, 1964 in Durant, Okla., to Benjamin Dwain and Galetta Fay (Jarvis) Lamar.
He liked to build doll houses, take drives down country dirt roads and he was into music. He played the guitar and would jam out. He enjoyed life.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Stanley Lamar; niece, Tabitha Baker and grandparents.
Survivors include his fiancé, Lori of the home; parents Ben Lamar of Mead, Okla., and Galetta Lamar of Durant, Okla.; sister, Jaquitta Baker of Mead, Okla.; sister-in-law, Becky Lamar of Calera, Okla.; nieces, Zerah Baker of Mead, Okla., Stormi Lamar of Calera, Okla.; nephews, Kye Baker of Mead, Okla., Zac Baker of Mead, Okla.; three great-nieces, Makayla Baker, Zoey Baker, Korra Owens; one great-nephew Easton Wade as well as other extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Gordon Funeral Home in Durant, Okla., with Bro. Kerry Groce officiating.
