On Thursday, Dec. 12, the Liwai family of Durant lost its home due to a fire. 
Many ways to assist the Liwais have been set up throughout Bryan County. Among them is a benefit hosted by Asian Gourmet.
All proceeds will go to Jack and Dottie Liwai. There are options for different meals.
1] $20 – 1/2 Sesame Chicken 1/2 chicken lo mein, chicken fried rice, egg roll, and 1 order fried dumplings
2] $20 – 1/2 General Tso’s Chicken 1/2 Chicken Lo Mein, chicken fried rice, 1 egg roll, 1 order fried dumplings
(Only available for takeout, no dine-in.)
3] $20 – 1/2 Orange chicken 1/2 chicken lo mein, fried rice, 1 egg roll, 1 order fried dumplings
Family Meal] $70 – Feeds 10 people
Any of the entree options above 1/2 and 1/2, with order of 10 egg rolls, 10 pc dumplings, NO RICE with family meal.
Asian Gourmet will also have select $5 toys for sale.
