The public is invited to come out for a benefit for Alaina Highfill, with the proceeds to go completely toward her medical expenses.
The dinner will take place at the Choctaw Nation Community Center, located at 1346 E. Martin Luther Dr. in Broken Bow. It is set for Saturday, April 13, at 6 p.m.
There will be beans and cornbread, chili, drinks and dessert for $12.
Alaina suffered a spinal cord injury in October 2023 and is paralyzed from the chest down. She is the daughter of Jeff and Lisa Highfill and granddaughter of Joe Wayne and Maxine Westbrook.
