Beaulah Irene (Ramsey) Vesterby was born on Nov. 12, 1926 in Essex, Mo. to Charles Edgar and Hettie May (Crader) Ramsey. Beaulah passed from this life on Dec. 17, 2020 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 94.
Beaulah married Ronald John Vesterby on March 7, 1944 in Yuma, Ariz. They moved to Bryan County in 1978 from Montclair, Calif. She and Ronald were blessed with 58 years of marriage before his passing in May 2002.
Beaulah worked as a practical nurse for 20 years in California and for Texas Instruments in Sherman for 10 years until her retirement. She was a loyal and devoted member of Blue Baptist Church and was in the Quilting Club. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, family and friends, working puzzles and serving the Lord.
Beaulah is preceded in death by husband, Ronald Vesterby; daughters: Judy Robinson, Jelen Hale and Joyce Teel; sons: Robert (Bobby) Stevens, Ronald Vesterby Jr. and Don Vesterby; grandsons: Craig Stevens and Nicholas Kiest; granddaughter, Stephanie Hale; sisters: Bernice Vesterby and Lola Harley and brother, Harold Ramsey.
Beaulah is survived by her daughter, Betty Young; daughter-in-law, Dee Stevens; son-in-law, John Teel; grandchildren: Ben and Kenny Teel, Jimmy Vesterby, Shawna DeLamar, Shanon Stevens, Elaine Booth, Irene Chaney, Misty Moss, Tommy Cuthbertson, Shelly Keist, Robbie Stevens, Scotty Hale, Jeff Wilkins, Clint Scaffer, Loyd Brandon, Sherrie Venator, Susie Brandon, Michelle Lopez, Terry Robinson, Lorena Kinney, Sandy Vesterby, Debbie Rowland and Josias Robinson; 40 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services was held on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020 at Blue Baptist Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
