Austin Lee Roy Parks

Austin Lee Roy Parks of Bokchito, Okla., 20 years old, passed away on July 4, 2019 in Durant, Okla. surrounded by his family. He was born on Feb. 12, 1999 in Joplin, Mo. to Larry Jr. and Renate Rochelle (Barker) Parks.

Austin moved to Bryan County 11 years ago from Missouri. He attended Durant Public Schools. Austin enjoyed music, video games and any other electronics.

Austin is preceded in death by his mother Rochelle and grandfather Larry Parks, Sr.

Austin is survived by his father Larry Parks, Jr. of Bokchito, Okla.; sister Sarah Parks of Durant, Okla.; brother Taylor Sweet and wife Melody of Springfield, Mo.; brother Dylan Parks of Albuquerque, N.M.; sister Ashton McBride of Oklahoma City, Okla.; grandmother Helen Parks of Durant, Okla.; uncle Michael Parks of Durant, Okla., and aunt Beth Parks of Calera, Okla.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. Brother Monty Wood will be conducting the service with interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Armstrong, Okla..

Family Hour will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Service. Condolences can be sent to www.brownsfuneralservice.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service in Durant.
