Annette Cynthia (Cheadle) Linzy was born on July 12, 1957 in Tishomingo, Okla. to Lawrence and Rachel (Gordon) Cheadle. Annette entered the Gates of Heaven on May 2, 2021 at her home in Tishomingo.
“Pinky” as she was known graduated from Tishomingo High School and attended Murray State College. She worked as a home provider for many years and dedicated her life to helping take care of others. She was a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church in Tishomingo and she enjoyed flowers and plants and she treasured her time visiting with family and friends.
Annette was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Rachel Cheadle; son, Aaron Cheadle; granddaughter, Kailiana Cheadle; brothers: Audie, Calvin, Nathaniel and Melvin Cheadle; and sisters: Ivory Rice, Nancy Richards, Thelma Smith, Matilda Woodley and Henretta Gaddis.
Annette is survived by her children: Steve Cheadle and wife Charmae of Tishomingo, Tamyra Frazier of Oklahoma City and Elisha Cheadle of Oklahoma City; brothers: Paul Cheadle, and Alfred Cheadle and wife Marion; sisters: Clarice Johnson, Opal Gray, Martha Davis and husband Rev. Bobby Davis Sr. and Carolyn Cheadle Webb and husband Melvin; brothers: Charlie Brown and Ernest Brown; special brothers: Homer Dale Cheadle and Eddie Cheadle; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren with two on the way and numerous extended family and friends.
Homegoing celebration will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church in Tishomingo. Rev. Gary Poole and Rev. Bobby Davis Sr. will officiate. Interment will follow in Wiley Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m.
