Andrew Keith “Drew” Carter was born on April 28, 1997 in Lewisville, Texas to Keith and Pamela (Taylor) Carter. Andrew passed from this life on October 9, 2021 from a tragic accident at the age of 24.
Drew, as he was known by family and friends, graduated from Paradise High School and started college. He moved to Utica six years ago from Texas. He enjoyed photography, cooking, fishing, hunting, and he loved to spend time at the lake.
Drew is preceded in death by his grandparents: Weldon Taylor, and Hallie and Jeff Chambliss.
Drew is survived by his mother, Pamela (Taylor) Carter; father, Keith Carter; brother, Dr. Jordan Carter and Kady Kyle; grandmother, Sylvia Taylor and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Services to celebrate Drew’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Utica Baptist Church. Pastor John Heath will officiate.
Graveside goodbye will follow at Wolfe Creek Cemetery with Ethan Mitchell, Garrett Mitchell, Bryce Hutchison, Kyle Hutchison, Kevin Robinson, and Christopher Taylor serving as pallbearers.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
