Alvin Lee (Lolly) McMennamy, 68, of Kemp, Okla., passed from this life to his Heavenly home June 30, 2023 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. Lolly is now free from the pain that he so courageously battled for several years. Alvin was born December 13, 1954 in Kemp, Oklahoma to Jerry and Helen Duckworth McMennamy.
He married Roberta Yarbrough and she preceded him in death in 2009.
Alvin is survived by a brother, Jerry Walton and wife Alma; sister Wanda Dyke; son, Brent Yarbrough; grandchildren: Kelsey Haigler and husband Stetson, Katie Yarbrough and Fiance’ Pierce Warren, Zachary Yarbrough and Maddie Yarbrough; great-grandchildren: Kyson, Sabber, Sammy and Sutton Jo.
Alvin was also predeceased by his parents; wife, Bert; brothers, Kenneth McMennamy and Buck Walton,; sister, Mary Jackson and and brother-in-Law Doyle Dyke.
A memorial service in his honor was held Friday, July 7, 2023, at Kemp Baptist Church with Pastor Roger Speers officiating.
