Allie Whitley

Allie Leonard Whitley went to be with the Lord on July 1, 2019. He was born in Oklahoma City, Okla., on Aug. 19, 1953, to Johnny Whitley and Mildred Daily Whitley.

Allie married Connie Waterson on August 25, 1972. He loved going to church, enjoyed his family and loved his job at Champion Cooler for 26 years. Leonard loved every day and was the first person I ever saw that loved to work so much and was so disappointed when he had to quit due to a stroke and seizure.

Leonard is survived by his wife; Connie Whitley of Colbert, Okla.; his son, Allen Whitley of Colbert, Okla.; two sisters: Annette Thompson and husband, E.J., and Fay Fairchild; one brother; Troy Whitley of Sherman, Texas; two sisters-in-law: Jo West and husband David, Vivian McKinney of Calera, Okla.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Leonard has never met a person that didn’t like him or he didn’t like them. He was a loved person by all and will be missed by everyone.

Family night will be Thursday, July 4, 2019, 6-7 p.m., at American Funeral Service, Colbert, Okla.. Funeral Services will be Friday, July 5, 2019, 2 p.m., Country Gospel Light House, Colbert, officiated by Rev. Billy Beal.

Pallbearers are; Robert Stead, Lauren Stead, E.J. Thompson, Britten Macomber, Corey Macomber and Shannon Stevens. Interment will be Mead Cemetery, Mead, Okla.

Arrangements are under the direction of American Funeral Service, Colbert, Okla.
