David Lynn Robinson, of Tulsa, Okla., passed from this life to his Heavenly Reward on Monday, May 20, 2019 at the age of 62. He was born on Sept. 17, 1956 in Durant, Okla. to William H. “Bill” Robinson and Edna Carol Tate Robinson. He was a faithful member of East Assembly Church in Tulsa, where he loved attending and singing.
He loved working for Volunteers of America in Tulsa, where he joyfully worked for many years. David made friends wherever he went, and he could light up a room and keep everybody laughing. He especially loved playing Santa Claus at the family Christmas get-together, and brought many laughs to all the family members.
David always had a dog of his own when he grew up, he and pampered them like they were his little kids. He really loved animals.
Survivors include his parents William H. “Bill” Robinson and Edna Carol Tate Robinson of Durant, Okla., an older brother, William M. “Bill” Robinson, also of Durant, Okla., three younger sisters, Cindy J. Hopkins of Sherman, Texas, Susan D. Hill and husband David Hill of Kingston, Okla., Brenda C. Peacock and husband Kevin Peacock of Cochrane, Alberta, Canada, and a younger brother, Philip E. Robinson and wife Shawna Robinson of Prairie Grove, Ark., and many nieces and nephews who loved Uncle David dearly.
The family wishes to express our deepest gratitude for the loving care provided to David by his special caregivers: Lori Biggs, Mary Yeske, Tom Doherty, Ermais Dubal, and Hiywet Abebe.
Funeral arrangements were made with American Funeral Services of Colbert, Okla.
